Morning Service was created for the exhibition 'Start from where you are: Second degree potentias' at Block Projects, Sheffield, curated by Jane Lawson. The new work shown in the exhibition was developed through a residency during which the artists explored the concept of 'Potentia' - a form of social organisation that prioritises human flourishing and environmental sustainability.  Morning Service was an experiment in creating a temporary community, and reflects the artist's belief that nurturing sustainable communities is a prerequisite for human survival.
